Sawhorse Books is an independent publishing company based in Cornwall, UK, specializing in the production of quality picture books. Set up in 2005 by myself(Chris Odgers) as steady platform from which to commercially publish my work. The intention and ethos of Sawhorse is simply to produce a book in which i have more control over artistic, narrative and production values that sometimes have to be compromised in the wider commercial world. I do still work commercially as a freelance illustrator as well as on private commissions.
